Classes & Events for June 2008

Scrapbooking Club: June 2nd, 6:30-8:30. The 1st Monday of each month is our scrapbook club. There is NO CHARGE for this meeting, however products used will be available for purchase if you need them. Each night you will learn a new technique & learn to incorporate it in your scrapbooking. Please pre-register if possible & bring a basic tool kit.
One day Sales Event: June 3rd & 13th. 9:30-6. On these days, we will be offering great specials for the one day only. Be sure to stop by or call to see what’s on sale
Wacky Wednesday: June 4th & 18th. Be sure to stop by & shop today as your punch cards will be double punched for all regular priced merchandise and Sizzix products at 25% off.
Celebrate Life Slide Book: June 5th, 6-9, $ TBD. In this class you will create a wonderful slide album all about you & your life. Bring a basic tool kit, craft knife & mat, metal edge ruler, bone folder, sanding tool & at least 20 mini photos (2x2 or 3x3). Please have pictures already cut to size. Teacher: Wendy
Dinner & a Movie Crop & Shop: June 6th, 6-12, $8 (VIC $5) We will have loads of fun tonight. We will serve dinner & watch a new movie while we crop. Be sure to join us.
Sizzix Day: June 7th, 9:30-6, We will do a free make & take plus demos from 10-3 only. However all of our Sizzix products will be on sale for 40% off the regular price.
Quickutz Club Meeting: June 9th, 11 -1 or 6:30-8:30. Do you love Quickutz as much as we do, then this club is for you. We will complete a layout tonight using QK products. There is no charge for this class, but you will need to buy the supplies if you want to do the project. Please bring your Tool & a basic tool kit. There will be refreshments, too. Plus, a special promotion on Quickutz only available to club members. NOTE: There will also be a day meeting this month.
Spirelli Class: June 10th, 6:30-8:30, $15. So many of you have said you want to learn spirelli. Well now is your chance. In this class you will make a page layout & do a card or 2. Bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Dolores
$1 Card Day: June 11th & 25th, 10-3. You can make as many cards as you want for $1 each.
Introduction to Scrapbooking 1 & 2: June 12th & 19th, 6:30-8:30, $25 for both classes. Are you new to scrapbooking or would like to learn if this is the hobby/craft you have been looking for? You will complete 2 layouts during the 2 nights plus you will learn the basics of scrapbooking, including what you need, where to begin, organizing your photos, and even the terms. No tools needed except adhesive. Please bring 3-4 pictures you want to scrapbook each night. Teacher: Dolores
All Day Crop: June 14th, 9-9, $15, (VIC $12) Join us for all the fun & 12 hours of cropping time. We furnish breakfast, lunch, snacks & beverages thru out the day, plus goody bag or door prizes.
Stamping Club: June 16th, 6:30-8:30. The 3rd Monday of each month is our stamp club. There is NO CHARGE for this meeting, however products used will be available for purchase if you need them. All Occasion Card Class: June 17th, 11-1 or 6:30-8:30 $15 Looking for some great card ideas. You will create 3-4 cards in this class for all kinds of occasions. Bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Darlene
Tall Poppies Class: June 20th, 4-6, $15 or $25 for mother/daughter. This is going to be a great class for kids & adults alike. You will complete page layouts & learn some great techniques. You will use the new Tall poppies line from Daisy D that goes along with the new Tall Poppies Book. Bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Jacquelyn Orton
Tall Poppies Book Signing: June 20th 6-8. Jacquelyn Orton is the author of the new Tall Poppies Book. It is a fictitious book about great childhood friends with a scrapbooking theme. You will be able to purchase your book & get her to sign it directly after the class.
Disney Layout Class: June 23rd, 6:30-8:30, $$TBD. Tonight you will make pages for all those great animal kingdom pictures you have. Bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Meg
Creative Lettering: June 24th, 6:30-8:30, $18. In this class you will learn the art of creative lettering, so you can create great cards & scrapbook pages without always having to use the computer, die cuts or sticker letters. Bring a basic tool kit and pens/markers. Teacher: Becky
Basic Grey Class: June 26th, 6-8:30, $18. We love Basic Grey & each month we will do 3-4 layouts and perhaps a card, if time permits, using Basic Grey products. You will also learn great techniques in this class. Bring a basic tool kit, & glue dots. Teacher: Karen
Smoothie Crop & Shop: June 27th, 6-12, $8 (VIC $5). Hey it’s June and already hot. We will crop tonight for 6 hours & serve smoothies & light snacks. Join us for the fun.
Quickutz Day: June 28th, 9:30-6. All day today we will be featuring Quickutz. Come by for a demo, a FREE make & take & see what Quickutz products are on sale. Demos and Make & Takes from 10-3 only.
Recipe Class: June 30th, 11-1 or 6:30-8:30, $15. This is our monthly recipe class. We will be working on some dividers this month for all the great pages you have done so far. We will do at least 2 recipes pages too & get to eat them. Bring a basic tool kit. Teacher: Dolores
