Class & Crop Registration

Payment or credit card is required upon registration of classes/crops.  This pre-payment is to ensure your spot in the class/crop.  Credit cards will not be charged until time of class/crop.  A 48 hour notice is required if you are unable to attend your class/crop.  If you do not call within the 48 hours, you will be charged for the class/crop (a kit will be ready for pick up for the class you missed).

Balance of January Events & Classes

Silhouette Class: January 17, 1-3 or 6:30-8:30 & **5:30-6:30. We have added a class for the beginner to help with all the basic set up and how to use your machine – this class is from 5:30-6:30. This class is a fringe benefit for customers that purchased their Silhouette machine at Once Upon A Scrapbook and those deciding if the Silhouette is the machine for them. A $10 fee is charged for customers attending the class that did NOT purchase their machine at our store (this $10 fee will occur each class you attend). Additional charges will occur if projects are done in the class. If you want hands on training, bring your Silhouette machine and lap top computer, otherwise, you will be able to observe the process.   We share ideas, learn techniques, & aspects of the machine. Mini Class: January 18, $5 each class. We have a quick & easy class that only last an hour and very economical. You must sign up for this class. You will need to bring a basic tool kit and scor-tape. Come by the store to see samples         10-11 – Gift Package Card -   Teacher: Darlene

Layout of the Month: January 19, 10-3, $TBD.  We will be completing a layout each month.  Come in 

anytime during the hours of 10-3 and make a beautiful layout.  You will need to bring a basic tool kit. 

Demo Day: January 21, 10-3.  Come in and see the new Tim Holtz distress stains demonstrated.  These stains are fun and easy to use. You can do so many things with them. When you purchase 3 or more stains, you will receive a 20% discount off the regular price.

Die Cut Class: January 23, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30.   Do you have a Quickutz – Epic or Revolution, Sizzix – Big Shot, Spellbinders Grand Caliber, or a Cuttlebug die cutting machine?  Then this is the class for you.  Each month we will do projects using some of the different dies available.  There is no charge for this class, but you will need to buy the kit to do the project.  Please bring a basic tool kit.  NOTE:  IT IS MANDATORY THAT YOU BRING YOUR DIE CUTTING MACHINE WITH YOU TO THE CLASS.

Donut & Coffee Crop: January 24, 9-2, $5.  Come and have coffee and donuts with us and scrapbook your photos.  This is a wonderful way to make new friends and catch up on your scrapbooking. You must sign up for this crop.

$1 Card Day: January 25, 10-3.  You can make as many cards as you want for $1 a card.

Valentine’s Card Class: January 26, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30, $20.  In this class you will make 3 beautiful Valentine’s cards.  Please bring a basic tool kit.  Teacher: Darlene

Demo Day: January 28, 10-3.  Come in and see Crafter’s Workshop templates demonstrated.  These templates are fun and easy to use. You can do so many things with them. When you purchase a template, you will receive 25% off regular price.

Girl Book:  January 28, 12-3, $TBD.  In this class you will make a cute girly mini book that you can keep or give away. 

Recipe Class:  January 30, 11-1 or 6:30-8:30, $20, you will make 4 – 6 x 6 recipe cards that are beautifully decorated, learn some new techniques and get to sample some of the recipes.  Bring a basic tool kit.  Teacher: Dolores

Punch Card Class: January 31, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30, $20. Do you have lots of punches and are not getting the most out of your punches.   In this class you will make 3-4 cards all from punches.  Please bring a basic tool kit.  Teacher:  Patty

FREE Crop: February 3 & 17, 10-5. This crop is FREE!  Come in and crop your photos.  Make some new friends and have lots of fun while doing it.

Demo Day: February 4, 10-3.  Come in and see We R Memory Keepers Sew Stamper demonstrated.  This is a new tool and is incredibly easy to use to make cards and scrapbook pages stand out.  Purchase three or more stamp heads and receive 25% off the handle.

No Frills Crop:  February 10, $5.  Come crop for the evening

Make it Mine Recipe Class: February 13, 10-12 or 6:30-8:30, $20.  In this class you will use your own recipes with our designed recipe cards.  You will complete four recipe cards and have the materials to take with you to print up your own recipe on each of the cards.  Please bring a basic tool kit.  Teacher: Darlene

Leap Year Crop: February 24, 5-12, $12.  Come celebrate Leap Year with us for a special crop night.  We will provide dinner and a goodie bag for everyone that attends.

Demo Day: February 25, 10-3.  Come in and see Perfect Pearls demonstrated.  You will receive 25% off all of the Perfect Pearls during this demo.

March Events

Anniversary Card Contest:  in honor of our 7th Anniversary, we are having a card contest.  Supplies must be available for purchase or have been purchased at Once Upon A Scrapbook.  Deadline for entries are March 10. Please limit card entry to one card per person.   Winner will be announced on March 17.  Cards will be posted in the store for customers to vote on from March 12-16.  Please come in and vote for your favorites.  A vote can be placed with each purchase.  First prize is valued at $50; a second prize will be awarded.

Once Upon a Scrapbook Anniversary Week: March 12-17, We will be celebrating our 7th year anniversary with sales, FREE- make-n-takes, cake & coffee, etc.  Come in and help us celebrate our anniversary this week! 

Weekend Crop: March 2-4, Friday 5pm-12am, Saturday 9am – 12am, Sunday, 9am-5pm, $100. This is a 30 hour crop spanning 3 days.   You don’t want to miss it. It will also include 6 meals, snacks, goodie bags, games, and prizes.  If you are unable to attend the whole weekend, please call the store to see if we have any openings for the time you would like to attend. 

Yard Sale:  March 22 & 23, Sign up to sell your items.  Please call the store for more details.  Come in and shop the great bargains during these two days.
